McCownGordon contracted as design-builder for Walmart’s $257M case-ready beef facility in Olathe, KS
Growing national manufacturing business unit contracts with largest national retailer
Olathe, KS (June 13, 2023) – McCownGordon is working with Walmart to design and build a 330,000-square-foot state-of-the-art, high-volume case-ready beef facility located in Olathe, Kansas. McCownGordon is leading the design and construction of the new facility in collaboration with ESI Design Services, Inc. The project, expected to break ground later this year, will create more than 1,000 design, fabrication, and construction jobs and is set for completion in 2025.
This project win furthers McCownGordon’s unique approach to project delivery and ability to bring sophisticated design, preconstruction and technologically advanced solutions to clients in the food and beverage market. “Serving the facility needs of national food and beverage brands with comprehensive design and construction services is a mainstay of our growing manufacturing business unit.
