2019 Capstone Awards: Industrial — Garmin warehouse and distribution center

Description: The new manufacturing and warehouse facility expands Garmin’s headquarters campus by almost 750,000 square feet. The building houses a unique blend of office and dining, alongside the manufacturing and distribution operations — nearly doubling the previous campus capabilities. The design capitalizes on simple materials and deliberate use of color to create clear wayfinding through the expansive facility, and a two-story, light-filled main circulation spine organizes every program space in the building.
